Two new classes!

Starting February 10, join Pastor Drew for a lectionary study every Sunday night at 6pm.  We’ll discuss the sermon from that morning and preview the next’s week’s Scripture lessons.  You can keep up with the lectionary in each month’s Courier or online at www.presbyterianmission.org/devotion/revised-common-lectionary/.

 

COMING SOON . . . Pastor Drew will facilitate a study of understanding theology through film, based on the book THEOLOGY GOES TO THE MOVIES, An introduction to critical Christian thinking, by Clive Marsh. The group will meet in the Sanctuary on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., beginning on Tuesday,
February 26. We will gather at 6pm, order pizza, watch a movie, then discuss and explore the movie from a theological perspective. This promises to be an entertaining and enlightening experience. Please join us! February’s selection is THE VISITOR.

Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build

2013 Interfaith Build Dates
January 19th – Wall Raising
February 9th – Interior & Exterior Painting

You’re invited to join in on one or both of the above Saturdays to help build our Church sponsored Habitat Home for the Davenport family.

Saturday January 19th will be a chance to meet with our co-sponsors from some of the 12 other local churches on the wall raising day.

Saturday February 9th is our church designated work-day where we will be painting both the interior and exterior of the home. We will be joined on that day by volunteers from St. Thomas and St. Mary’s.
